was at the royal festival hall tonight - poulenc's 'stabat mater' and beethoven's 9th. rebecca from grace was part of the choir and had arranged a good ticket in front stalls. 
stabat mater reminded me of a proper film score from, say, the 1940s. and beethoven's 9th, of course, reminded me of a clockwork orange. i knew such lovely pictures.
